    Morning, dear friends!

Friday, May 16, 2008, 07:20 AM EST [General]

I got up extra early so I could write this… the days seem to get away from me lately, ha! I’ve had my sweet boy in the mornings all week and by the time he goes home I head to the garden and the woodland. This has been the nicest stretch of weather. I don’t do well in heat so these mild temps with abundant sunshine make my heart sing! I don’t want to miss a day of it… soon enough I will have to take refuge in the AC :(

Here’s the latest of aXavier… he’s just 3 mo. now and smiles and even giggles at his Aunties when they’re silly :P Lately… that’s most of the time, lol.

Amber gets her gall bladder out on this Tuesday coming… I sure hope it makes a difference. If you could keep her in thought, we’d be ever so grateful. Thanks!

So, yea… gardens are looking pretty fine, if I do say so myself. Not a lot of cash (actually none!) to spend but I’ve managed to collect a few goodies here and there. Time will tell if they take or not but Goddess is abundant in this valley so I’m not terribly worried. I did splurge on a few herbs that didn’t over winter and if I find a pot of Artemisia Vulgaris (mugwort/common wormwood variety) I’ll sell my oldest girl to get it, lol! Not sure why it’s scarce in the nurseries around here. It’s not an uncommon plant… it's actually considered an invasive weed here in the NE... go figure. I'll have to keep my eyes glued to the side of the road. Have shovel, will travel! I broke my trowel :(  All the house plants went outside this week and perked up almost immediately! I know how they feel :)

Well, that’s all the news fit to print. The rest is just 20 something drama… bleh. Goddess give me strength!

Blessing and full moon love to all!

Have a wonderful weekend... xxx ooo

What a beautiful baby! :) He looks so peaceful!

In a week and a half or so, we're hitting the public market and picking up some herbs and flowers to plant. We can't wait!

Enjoy the sunshine - like you, I am not a fan of the extreme heat. Sounds like it is about perfect in your world!

(PS: I'll add Amber to my best thoughts on Tuesday.)

    Love,

HI there darlin, sending Amber lots of good energy :) Also, I have mugwort for you sweetie!!! I don't have wormwood - that all died, choked out by weeds - but you can have some when I get more (it self seeds like crazy!). But if you want straight up lovely mugwort - as in your picture, just say the word :) Love you!

Mugwort can be had cheaply if you grow it from seed. : )

That's one gorgeous baby, Heather. You're a lucky Nana. Blessings for Amber. I hope she gets some relief and recovers quickly!

I just looked through my seed packets and didn't find any, but let me know if you're looking for anything else. I have quite a collection! : )

Love you a whole, whole lot,
